I am Haixiang Liu, the developer of HiPhyEngine!

I acquired my bachelor degree on Mathematics and Computer Sceinces from HKUST, and finished my doctoral dissertation of on simulation and high performance computing at UW Madison.

I worked for WDAS for 6 years, developing and maintaining character simulation and grooming toolset. Since I have left WDAS, I created HiPhyEngine, an unified simulation engine for character simulation.

HiPhyEngine aims to be the best available solution for solving the challenges in character simulation that I saw artists faces during my time at the animation studio. HiPhyEngine has many features that is not available in any other simulation engine. It is designed for modern hardware, robust, and guarantees intersection free, while giving artists as much control as possible.
